Jassi Gill is a very popular Punjabi singer. His real name is Jasdeep Singh Gill. He was born on November 1988 in a small village Jandali of district Ludhiana, Punjab. He often used to sing in college function. He made his début in 2011 with the album Batchmate with the hit song “Chudiyan”. This song become very famous in sort time. After great success of the song “Chudiyan” Jassi Gill released his next album Batchmate 2 in 2013 with the song “LANCER”, which got more positive response from users than the previous album. The song actually attract the audience especially for its lyrics written by Narinder Batth. One another song of Jassi Gill “BAPU ZAMIDAR” become tremendous hit in 2014. Because of his success as singer he got many offers from films also. Jassi Gill has acted in Punjabi film Mr $ Mrs 420 as a hero in 2014.

Amninderpal Singh Virk, best known as Ammy Virk is a famous Punjabi singer mainly recognized as Bhangra singer of recent time. He started his career with a single “CHANDIGARH DIYAN KUDIYAN” in 2012 which gained popularity among punjabi singers within a short time. He soon released his first album named as Jattizm in 2013. One song of this album “Bullet vs. Chammak Challo” get so much popular that it broke several records in Pollywood music industry. This song is also awarded by PTC music reward 2013.
His two songs “Zindabad Yarriyan” and “Han kegi” released in year 2016 got very popular on Youtube with million of hits within a sort time. Ammy Virk is a biggest fan of Bhangra legendary Surjit Bindrakhia.

Roshan Prince is a multi talented personality of Punjab. He is a Punjabi singer, producer, musician, lyrics writer and actor. He was born on September 12, 1981 and his real name is Rajiv Kaplish. Due to his deep interest in singing he participated in a Punjabi music reality TV show named “Awaaz Punjab Di”, aired on the channel MH1 in the year 2005. He not only participated in the show but also won. He started his singing career with his debut album AWAAJ PUNJAB DI in 2006. His other albums are Prince n Pooja live, The Heart Hacker- Dil Da Chor, Krazzy Gabbroo, Gutt Te Pranda, Ik Hor Mr Pendu, Bas Tu etc.. He has released a very nice song “Jatti De Nai” with music creator Millind Gaba in last year 2016.

Sharry Maan is one of the most popular singer, writer and actor of Punjabi film industry. Sharry Maan was born on 12 September 1982 in Mohali, Punjab. He choose civil engineering as his first profession after graduation. He used to sing usually in his college, parties and gathering of his friends and relatives. At that time he got a lot of cheerfulness from his friends and relatives then he decided to choose singing as professional career. He started his singing career with debut album ‘Oye Hoye Pyaar Ho Gya’ in 2013 which did not get enough attention of music listeners.
He was always very fond of music and he always sung in his free time. He started singing in parties and within gathering of friends and his friends love his songs and his voice; they encouraged him to become a professional singer. But at that time Sharry never thought to choose singing as his career. He is best known for his hit title song of the album ‘Yaar Anmulle’ (2011). Song ‘3 Peg’ is getting much popularity as it has gotten 8M views on Youtube till the time of writing this post.

Amrinder recorder his very first song for a program aired on Jalandhar Doordarshan in 2000. Gill came into the limelight with his breakthrough track “Paigam,” followed by some other hits such like Daru, Madhaania, Khedan De Din, with Sunidhi Chauhan, and many others. He has been given many awards for his contribution to the Punjabi music industry. His album Judaa got positive feedback form audience and become success followed by his another album Judaa 2 in 2014. Instead of hit songs Amrinder Gill is also associated with many Punjabi hit movies. He started his acting career with superhit Punjabi movie “Munde UK De” in 2009 in a supporting role with famous actor Jimmy Shergill and gorgeous Neeru Bajwa.

Surjit Bindrakhiya (15 April 1962 – 17 November 2003), was a well known Punjabi singer, specially for the Bhangra style of Punjabi music. Surjit or Surjeet certainly had a very strong voice among other Bhangra singers during his singing period. He is known for his hekh, in which he sings a note continuously in one breath. With the release of “Dupatta Tera Sat Rang Da” Surjit create a sensation in the music business and become an international star. Some of the most popular song of Surjit are Tera Yaar Bolda, Lak Tunoo Tunoo, Jat Di Pashand, Dupatta Tera Satrang Da and more.
Surjit Bindrakhiya was considered to fill a gap between traditional Punjabi folk music and modern Punjabi pop. He was immensely popular in the rural belt of Punjab. The high-pitched melodious voice of Punjab fell silent forever with the death of Surjeet Bindrakhia on November 17, 2003 at Mohali, Punjab. Some of the biggest names in Punjabi music including Gurdas Maan, Babbu Mann, Hans Raj Hans, Gurpreet Guggi and Karnail Sibia also reached at his village for his funeral.

Babbu Mann doen’t need any introduction. He is well known Punjabi singer, songwriter, actor and film producer. Babbu Mann was born in village Khant Maanpur district Fatehgarh Sahib of Punjab on 18 March, 1975. He has started his singing career in late 90’s with his debut album “Sajan Rumal De Geya”, But it was not much successful at that time. In 2001, He became a one night star by the title song of his album “Saaun Di Jhadi”. At that time this song was on the lips of every villages at rural area of Punjab and West Uttar Pradesh. From 2001 to 2003 he released many hit songs like Dil Ta Pagal Hai, Ishq and Kabza. Babbu Maan also got stuck in controversies with release of the song “Ik Baba Nanak Si”, but majority of the Punjabi people were in favour with him as he conveyed the truth about Fake Baba’s. Basicaly, he is very simple and genuine person by nature, tries to stay away from the media and industrie’s internal gossips. Punjabi industry icon, Jaswinder Singh Bains, more popularly known as Jazzy B, is a Punjabi language Bhangra singer-songwriter. He was born on April 1, 1975 in Durgapur, Nawanshahr, Punjab, India. His family was moved to Canada in his early age. Jazzy B has released number of hit albums in early 21st century. Some of the most popular Bhangra hits of Jazzy B includes Ghugian Da Jorra, Londono Patola, Naag, Tera Roop, Romeo, Sardara, Dil Luteya, and Soorma. The album ‘Romeo’ was based on hip hop music. “DIL LUTEYA” feat Apache Indian was gained popularity because of the combination of hop hop style video and Bhangra voice of Jazzy B. Recently Jazzy released third version of his superhit song Naag as Naag-The Third. After more then Twenty years of his singing career Jazzy B is still one of the best and popular Punjabi singer.
